What in the Word? More efficiently crafting materials


Training and Development professionals craft and curate many documents. Ever pause to think of the time managing materials takes? Imagine if you could do that work more efficiently?

Join us for a session with Julie Smith, Microsoft guru of sorts. She will share tips and tricks coming from 25 years of Instructional Design experience doing daily battle with Microsoft Word.

By attending this session, participants will:

  • Create and use Styles and the Navigator Pane.
  • Better understand the Ruler and how to make it do what you want
  • Get keyboard commands you will actually use
  • Shortcuts to formatting corrections more easily

About the Presenters:

Julie Smith is a professional in the UC Health System. She holds Microsoft credentials and has broad and deep experiences with Microsoft systems, including the ways they work well and not so well.
